Body Body To Add a Ballroom and Disco Dance Section to Its Dresses Department

Retailer Hopes to Service Current Craze for TV Dancing Competitions

Online retailer BodyBody.com  will soon feature daring new fashions inspired by popular TV dance shows. The new items will be placed in a special dance and exercise wear section of Body Body’s already hugely successful Party Dresses and Sexy Dresses department.

Fashioned by famed swimwear designer Ujena, the new clothes will emphasize comfort, elasticity and subtle Latin sensuality. According to Ujena, “This collection is a combination of jazz, contemporary, modern and urban style dancewear. Dance is really growing in part because of the recent popularity of the hit TV shows So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars.

“The demographic is mainly girls/women 14 to 29 who purchase dancewear for studio type classes, or competitions they participate in.  We are probably going to call the collection Excercise & Dance.  There is some crossover and it should also help expand the market some.”

“A lot of girls and women have been inspired to hit the competitive dance floor,” states Ranowear President and CEO, Willis Domingo. “Body Body’s mission is to make sure they look their best.”
