Greg Pontoni of Ambertone Talks about His Music and His Debut Album Shifting Stars and Disregards

Greg Pontoni of the rock/alternative band Ambertone has been busy promoting the band’s debut album Shifting Stars and Disregards.  The album was released August 23 after three years songwriting and eight months of recording.  Pontoni is proud of the album and is confident that there will be more in the future.

Ambertone is a rock, alternative band based in Orlando, Florida.  Drawing influences from the Foo Fighters, to Three Doors Down and Switchfoot, lead vocalist and guitarist Greg Pantoni describes the music as radio friendly and relatable. 

The band’s debut album Shifting Stars and Disregards is a compilation of the band’s best work telling tales of “love, life, tragedy and recovery.”  The eleven track album was produced by Casey Daniel of 7Mary3 and features “My Distaster,” “Green,” “The Angels” and “Start Again.” 

Ambertone will continue to promote their new album through a steady lineup of shows and radio plays on local stations such as 101.1 WJRR and 91.5 WPRK.  The band’s music is also played on Rock100 WDIZ, an internet radio station. 

After having played alongside the likes of Tantric, 7Mary3, 12 Stones and Days of the New, Ambertone is confident that their music will be heard by millions and their album will “catapult the band on what is sure to be an incredible journey.”

Ambertone will be at the Universal Skating Center with Rock 100 WDIZ on Thursday September 4 to sign autographs, sell cds and give away free tickets to their September 12^th show at Hard Rock Live in Orlando with SoulSwitch, Boyce Avenue and Dagnese.  The band will not be performing at the Skating Center.
