Hair Found in Trunk Believed to be From Caylee Anthony

The strands of hair found in the trunk of a vehicle being driven by Casey Anthony are believed to have come from her 3-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony.

It is the latest piece of damaging evidence against Casey Anthony who maintains she played no role in the disappearance of her daughter. On Wednesday air samples taken from the trunk and tested by the University of Tennessee “Body Farm” indicated human decomposition.

Caylee Anthony has been missing for more than two months but it was just last month that Casey reported her daughter’s disappearance to police. The 22-year-old told police she had left her Caylee with a babysitter and when she went to pick her up both were gone.

Throughout the investigation Casey has provided little information to police to aid in their hunt. She was arrested and charged with lying to investigators and child neglect and spent a month in prison. On Aug. 21 she was released after a California bondsman paid the $500,000 bond.

Anthony is expected to return to prison on Saturday as the bondsman has opted to revoke her bail because she has provided no help in the search for her daughter since her release.
