Gold Medalists Bryan Clay and Nastia Liukin Earn Spot on Wheaties Box

The 2008 Beijing Olympics are a wrap and most athletes will go back to the daily grind of preparing for the 2012 London Games or relax in retirement but two U.S. athletes will remain in the public eye for a bit longer as gold medal winners Bryan Clay and Nastia Liuking have earned a spot on the wheaties cereal box.

Clay captured the gold medal in the decathlon, the first U.S. athlete to take gold in the ten-event challenge since Dan O’Brien won gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Liukin will also grace the Wheaties box after becoming just the third U.S. women’s gymnast to capture gold in the all-around competition.

The Wheaties boxes with Bryan Clay and Nastia Liukin will hit shelves in September.
