Cancer Survivor Reveals How She Used Faith to Beat Cancer and Find Wholeness Again

Weichenthal’s book details the story of her diagnosis, the treatment, and her state of mind during her illness. Her story serves as a guideline for others so that they too can find wholeness in spirit, body, and soul through the Holy Spirit as well.

Focusing on how to make the spirit and soul whole, This is Cancer, But You Will Overcome It! is divided into eight chapters, where Weichenthal guides readers to spiritual wellness. Her story is engaging from start to finish and reads like a story being told by a friend. It will leave an everlasting impression for survivors, friends, family, and fighters alike.

“It is my intention to share a portion of my journey from illness to wholeness. It is not my intention to pretend that mine is the only way to walk out the journey. Rather, perhaps some part of it may help another,” writes Weichenthal.

Originally from Imperial, Nebraska, the author now resides in Granite Bay, California. She is retired from a long career in mental health services where she was responsible for the oversight of substance abuse treatment services offered in thirteen counties in Nebraska. She currently serves as the organist/pianist for the First United Methodist Church in Loomis, California.
