Just days after being ordered back to jail with no possibility of bail, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was free again. Originally ordered to serve 30 days in jail while she awaited her probation revocation hearing, the judge’s orders were overruled after just 14 hours of jail time. Lohan was freed after posting $300,000 in bail on Friday, Sept. 24th. Then after just one weekend of freedom, she reportedly checked herself back into rehab on Monday.
This latest legal trouble stems from a failed drug test, which was followed by Lohan “tweeting” that, "Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night," Other Twitter posts followed, including one that insisted, "I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps."
Lohan’s Jail Time History
Lohan already spent 13 days in a Los Angeles County jail this past summer, followed by 23 days in a court-ordered rehab program. Lohan is currently ordered to wear a SCRAM alcohol-detection bracelet as a condition of her bail and she will be back in court on October 22 for that probation revocation hearing.
