Wyclef Jean missed his chance to run for President of Haiti earlier this year, but the 40-year-old musician and producer says that he will be running for the prestigious political position in 2015. Jean, who was born in Haiti, filed for candidacy on August 5th for this year's Haitian Presidential election, but the Electoral Commission ultimately ruled the former Fugee ineligible because he did not meet the 5-year residency requirement. "I’m not a quitter, and the most important thing for me is, I think, to
move Haiti forward. It’s gonna take modern thinking" Jean told
