A CBS Radio News correspondent and his wife were arrested Saturday for drug possession. Authorities say Radio News correspondent Howard Arenstein and his wife Orly Azoulay, who is the Washington correspondent for Israel newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, were growing 11 marijuana plants at their Washington home.
Police searched the couple’s home after receiving an anonymous tip. In addition to the plants, six two-ounce bags of marijuana were found inside the house. Arenstein and Azoulay are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Arenstein is also the executive producer of The CBS News Weekend Roundup.
