Cop killer

In a bizarre incident in New York, a man called the emergency number, 911, early Sunday morning to threaten the cops. The transcript of the call shows that the man gave the address and told the operator to send the cops to him because he was ready to kill them. When asked to clarify his statement he repeated himself adding the address at which he claimed he was waiting for the cops.

The cops responded to the call and reached the address which the caller had given. They found 24-year-old Emmanuel Paulino with a knife in his hand waiting for the cops.

Following standard procedures, the police identified themselves and warned Immanuel to discard the knife. In spite of repeated warnings he did not comply with the officers’ orders. According to witnesses present at the scene, he continued to charge at the police officers with a knife. Their supervisor then discharged the stun gun they had carried with them. However, this too did not dissuade the suspect. He also managed to rip away the electrical prongs that had embedded in his body.

When he continued to aim for the officers with the knife in his hand, they were forced to fire. The bullets hit several places in the upper body.

Emmanuel Pauline was pronounced dead in the Columbia Pavilion Hospital. No further news on the suspect is available
