Stock Movers on Equity Offerings (ICAD, XRA, BNVI, AEC)

iCAD, INC. (NASDAQ:ICAD)  fell 4.05% to $1.66 after it  filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today to sell, from time to time, up to $75 million of Common Stock.

Exeter Resource Corporation (AMEX: XRA) fell 7.40% to $6 after it announced that they have entered into an agreement with an underwriter for the sale of up to 8,065,000 common shares at a price of C$6.20 per share.

Gross proceeds are expected to be C$50,003,000.

In addition, the Company will grant the Underwriter an over-allotment option, exercisable prior to the closing of the Underwritten Offering, to purchase from the Company up to an additional 1,209,750 common shares at C$6.20 per share to raise additional gross proceeds of up to C$7,500,450.

Bionovo (Nasdaq: BNVI) rose 3% to $1.07 after it announced to raise $3 million through a registered direct offering. The company will sell 2.73 million shares at $1.10/share and also offer 2.05 million warrants. Bionovo sees proceeds of about $2.8 million after commissions.

Associated Estates Realty Corporation (NYSE: AEC) fell 2.61% to $13.82 after it has completed the sale of 9,200,000 common shares at a price of $13.60 per share. The net proceeds of the sale were approximately $119.6 million after deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and offering expenses.

Associated Estates intends to use the net proceeds received from the offering to fund property acquisitions, to repay indebtedness and for general corporate purposes. Pending application for the foregoing purposes, Associated Estates intends to use the net proceeds to temporarily repay borrowings outstanding under its unsecured revolving credit facility.
