"Two and a Half Men" Child Star Signs Huge Contract

Child Star Angus T. Jones Set to Make Some Big Bucks

"Two and a Half Men" is still one of the most popular shows on TV these days. So it is not too surprising that 'half'-man child star Angus T. Jones, is set to make some big bucks as he continues to play one of the main characters on the hit CBS show. According to TMZ.com, the 16-year-old actor has recently signed an extension contract with the show worth $300,000 per episode. The hefty contract was signed on May 12th and promises $7.8 million over the next two seasons, in addition to a $500,000 signing bonus. And that is just for a minimum of 26 episodes over the next two years. Jones could actually earn $14.4 million in the next two years if he appears in every one of the 48 episodes that CBS has planned. E! Online put the story humorously, saying, "That Two and a Half Men Kid Makes More in a Week Than You Will All Year. Enjoy Your Weekend." Jones will very likely be enjoying his weekend, because this young millionaire's 17th birthday was on Friday.

Also making big bucks with the hit show is Charlie Sheen, who plays Jones' uncle on the show. Around the same time that Jones was inking his lucrative deal, Sheen was signing a huge contract of his own. He is set to earn $2 million an episode, which translates into at least $52 million over the next two years.
