South Carolina (19) knocks off Alabama (1) 35-21

The South Carolina Gamecocks had their biggest win in school history knocking off the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Gamecocks were led by QB Stephen Garcia who threw three touchdown passes. Garcia's targets were Alshon Jeffery who accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's while the other was caught by Marcus Lattimore.

Coach Steve Spurrier led his Gamecocks to the footballs program first win over a number 1 ranked school.

Spurrier said to his players "I said 'Fellas, if fate means for us to win this game Saturday then let's give it a chance. Let's give fate a chance to happen. "

With The Gamecocks win over No. 1 Bama predictions are in that when the rankings come out later today the Gamecocks could be ranked as high as No. 5.

The win for South Carolina over Alabama was the first loss by Alabama in 19 straight victories including last years National Championship.
