Atlanta Braves lose to the San Francisco Giants 3-2

The Atlanta Braves came home and lost to the Giants 3-2 in the ninth inning

The Braves trailed up until the bottom of the 8th 1-0 before scoring two runs in the bottom of the 8th to take the lead into the 9th 2-1.

Eric Hinske drove in both runs with a two run homer giving the Braves the lead going into the 9th in the best of five series.

Bobby Cox in his last year as the Braves Mgr. will try to lead his team to victory in game four to force a game five to play the of the Reds Phillies series.

Tim Hudson who has pitched consistently showed up again today going seven solid innings giving up four hits and striking out five.

The Giants Jonathan Sanchez went 7 and 1/3 innings fanning 11 Brave hitters before leaving the game.

The loss was handed to Craig Kimbrel who gave up one earned run in the top of the 9th.The Braves defense has been questionable in the series with three more errors today.

The Braves and the Giants will face-off again in game four of the best of five series Monday night with an 8:37 p.m. e.s.t.

Derrick Lowe will be pitching for the Braves against Madison Bumgarner.
