Cooper City, FL- Purebred Breeders is proud to announce its formal donation program to support outstanding non-profit organizations that are making a difference in our community. “We look for organizations that through their commitment and love for animals are changing lives as a result of their work,” stated Keryn Rod, Director of Communications. Purebred Breeders will donate to different non-profit organizations throughout the year as a way of acknowledgement and support for their contribution and commitment to the welfare of animals and people.
Purebred Breeders first donation was received by Amen Graduate Dogs, Academy of Missouri Educational Network, an organization which raises and trains dogs for the physically challenged while providing diversion programs, support groups, re-entry, residential transitional, and independent living programs for at risk youths. For years, Faun and Doug Collett of Warrenton, Missouri have been training service and support dogs. While training these dogs to perform a wide variety of tasks, sometimes up to 89 different tasks, depending on individual needs, Faun and Doug have had great success with troubled and adjudicated youth who assist with the training, feeding and care of the animals at their facility. “We are honored to be recognized by Purebred Breeders as an organization who is making a difference for people through our love and appreciation for dogs and the difference they can make, this donation will help us continue our programs” said Faun Collett, Executive Director, Amen Dogs.
