Courtney Cox Offered $1 Million to Promote Cougar Website

Courtney Cox, who recently split from her long-time husband David Arquette, has been offered $1 million to promote a ‘cougar’ dating website that specializes in setting up older women with younger men. Just a day after it was announced that Cox had separated from her husband of 11 years, the cougar dating website CougarLife.com mailed the 46-year-old star of the ABC sitcom “Cougar Town” a $1 million offer to be their new spokeswoman. According to a report from TMZ.com, "We're told [CougarLife] believes Courteney's personal "circumstances" -- coupled with the fact that she stars in "Cougar Town" -- make her the perfect candidate" The contract, if signed, would require Cox to "voice 12 radio ads, appear in 4 TV ads, and make at least 30 public appearances for the CL brand ... all within the span of one year."

Courtney Cox has not reportedly made any statement about whether or not she intends to sign the contract. But it seems doubtful that she would accept the offer unless she really cared about promoting the cougar lifestyle. After all, during her last two seasons on "Friends", Cox used to earn $1 million per episode. And with a successful TV career still underway, it doesn't seem that Cox would be attracted to the CougarLife offer primarily on the basis of money. (Sources: TMZ.com)
