US Stock Hits One-Year High

Vodafone Group Plc (ADR) (NASDAQ:VOD) advanced 1.98% to $26.76 on unusual volumes after it made its fresh one-year high of $26.84. Vodafone Group was raised to buy from neutral by Nomura International, which cited the company's positive earnings momentum.

In the past one month of trading sessions, the stock went up more than 6%. Over the past 52-week, the stock traded within the range of $18.21-$26.84.

Zagg Inc (NASDAQ:ZAGG) skyrocketed 42.38% to $7.29 on about 9.69 million shares. The stock made its new 52-week high of $7.40. The company announced that it expects third quarter 2010 revenues to exceed $22 million, and now expects full year 2010 revenue growth of 70%. This compares to previously issued revenue guidance of 30% growth over 2009 results.

Volumes were massive as 9.69 million shares are traded as compared to its average daily volume of 563K shares.

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NASDAQ:JASO) added 3.09% to $9.85 on about 14.81 million shares after it created its fresh 52-week high of $10.24. Last week, the company announced that it has signed an agreement to deliver over 13MW of high efficiency, mono-crystalline solar cells to a U.S. solar module manufacturer and systems company. Delivery began in the third quarter and will continue through the remainder of 2010.

At today`s closing market price, the market capitalization of the company stood at $1.66 billion.

LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE:LDK) advanced 2.43% to $12.65 on unusual volumes after it made its fresh one-year high of $13.47. Sunways AG and LDK Solar have agreed upon cooperation in the production of Sunways Solar Modules.

In the past one month of trading sessions, the stock went up more than 56%. Over the past 52-week, the stock traded within the range of $4.97-$13.47.
