Whoopi’s Had Enough Of The View

Whoopi Goldberg has marched off the set of controversy-loving show ‘The View” today, after a discussion of the ground-zero ‘mosque’ got out of hand.

The show was discussion the proposed building of an Islamic community center two-blocks away from ground zero, when the argument got heated.

Fox News host, Bill O’Reilly, who was on the show to promote his book “Pinheads And Patriots: Where You Stand In The Age of Obama” exclaimed that "Muslims killed us on 9/11" to which Goldberg near-screamed "Oh my God, that is such b******t!"

Co-host Joy Behar had tried to interject O’Reilly who came at her with "Listen to me because you'll learn something,” to which she retorted “Pinhead” before saying: "I don't want to sit here. I don't. I'm outraged by that statement." She and Goldberg promptly left the set.

‘The View’ creator, Barbara Walters quickly took charge, saying that her colleagues shouldn’t have stormed off: "We should be able to have discussions without washing our hands and screaming and walking offstage," but also had a go at O’Reilly for his comment, "You cannot take a whole religion and demean them," she scolded.

O’Reilly later apologized after some more back and forth between him and Walters, after which Behar and Goldberg rejoined the set.

The controversy of the planning of an Islamic cultural center near the site of the 9/11 attacks has polarized the nation in recent weeks, with tempers and patience on the issue reaching tearing point on many occasions.
