Pop Singer Pulls the Plug on Marriage
In the divorce papers, Aguilera lists the date of the separation as September 11, 2010, meaning that the couple has not been on the best of terms for at least a month now. In the divorce petition, Aguilera is asking for joint physical and legal custody of the couple's son. The petition also asks that Bratman not receive any spousal support.
Meanwhile, one of Aguilera's close friends has told People Magazine that Aguilera is focusing on continuing to be a great mom. She's spending as much time as she can with Max... Max is her No. 1 concern. She's making a huge effort to continuing to be a good mom through this transition for him."
