33-Year-Old Actor, Musician, and Athlete in Critical Condition

According to various reports, T.J. Lavin, BMX star and the host of MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" is in a coma after an attempt at a BMX trick went horribly wrong. Lavin was competing in the Dew Tour Championships on Thursday night in Las Vegas when he lost control of his bike and wiped out after attempting a combination called a 'nac nac'. Friends and crew workers rushed to Lavin, who was apparently not moving. Lavin was then rushed to the University Medical Center hospital, where doctors put the 33-year-old into a medically induced coma in order to relieve swelling in his brain. Lavin also sustained a shattered wrist and broken ribs. As of Friday morning, Lavin is in critical condition.
