American Airlines Flight 1586 Lands Safely at LAX after Tire Blows Out During Take Off

American Airlines Flight 1586 has landed safely at Los Angeles’ LAX airport after the plan blew a tire while taking off.

The pilot of Flight 1586 quickly notified officials that at least one of the plane’s front tires was damaged during take-off and a decision to return to the airport was made. After circling the airport several times to burn off fuel the pilot brought the plane to a smooth landing with no troubles.

Flight 1586 was carrying 136 passengers and was scheduled to fly to Toronto.
