Meet The Experts, a Pixel Heads Network production, has interviewed some of the top movers and shakers of the digital and new media industry. From the CEO of Yahoo! Entertainment to the CEO of Disney TV Networks and from President of Sony Imageworks to the CEO of Paramount Digital, the online show has brought in phenomenal guests with forward thinking in the digital, new media and and e-marketing industries. The show, scheduled to air Sept. 9th at PixelHeadsNetwork.com and in many other video distribution sites, will feature top book trailer producer and online video distribution guru Sheila Clover English of Circle of Seven Productions.
Meet The Experts has featured authors such as Patrick O’Keefe, author of a new book titled “Managing Online Forums” and David Meerman Scott, author of The New Rules of PR and Marketing. Those shows are available as podcasts from the Pixel Heads Network site. Sheila Clover English has authored an e-book titled The Book Trailer Revolution and recently released a white paper called The Residual Marketing Effect which talks about how video helps create organic SEO among other long tail marketing effects. Issues addressed in the white paper have been highlighted on many video producer sites as a sales incentive. On Meet The Experts, Sheila discusses book trailers and the book trailer market, a topic she has lead the field in since 2002.
Sheila has also been interviewed on TubeMogul University and by new media expert Robert Scoble. “I’m a member of the ADM (Association of Downloadable Media) and the Internet Content Syndication Council," says English, "and I’m very active on some great tech groups. By staying on top of what’s going on in new media I can be in the forefront of what’s next for book video.”
Marcelo Lewin, Founder and CEO of Pixel Heads Network says, "Sheila is one of those people that completely gets what new media is about, not only from the consumer's point of view, but also as an industry expert. After I interviewed her on Meet The Experts, I realized she is extremely passionate and has the knowledge to implement that passion into her successful new media business."
Book trailers, a term trademarked by Sheila Clover English years ago when she started Circle of Seven Productions, have become increasingly popular as new venues for digital media evolve. The company not only leads in online video distribution, but has turned to off line venues as well with distribution going to out-of-home venues such as Transit TV and a program that puts kiosks in high schools showing book trailers. The company is currently working on a database that will allow them to input information about a book and get a list of the top sites the book should be distributed to, and the new software will say why it should be placed there.
New media brings new opportunities to the publishing industry and makes reading sexy.
