Solar Stocks Fell Again (LDK, STP, YGE, TSL)

LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE:LDK) dropped 4.19% to $12.12 on about 12.29 million shares. Earlier this week, Sunways AG and LDK Solar have agreed upon cooperation in the production of Sunways Solar Modules.

The stock opened at $12.86 and was trading within the range of $11.70-$12.99. Over the past five trading sessions, the stock went up more than 23%.

Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP) went down 5.99% to $9.42. The 52-week range for the stock is $7.53 and $18.78. The Company has Price/Sales ratio of 0.79 and Price/Book ratio of 1.23.

Over the past five trading sessions, the stock went up more than 4%.

Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:YGE) fell 3.17% to $13.12 on unusual volumes. This week, Baoding Tianwei Yingli New Energy Resources, subsidiary of Yingli Green Energy Hold plans to issue up to RMB2.4 billion unsecured five-year medium-term notes with the PRC National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors.

Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE:TSL) slumped 8.98% to $27.87 on over 10.20 million shares. Earlier this week, Cowen and Company maintained Outperform rating on Trina Solar Limited.

In the past six months of trading sessions, the stock went up more than 6%. The 52-week range of the stock is $14.85-$31.89.
