Hot Stocks in Focus

Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) went up 0.09% to $77.67 after JPMorgan Chase & Co., last week, reported a 6.6% increase in credit-card spending. Spending on the bank’s credit cards increased to $79.6 billion during the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with $74.7 billion in the same period a year earlier and $78.1 billion in the second quarter.

The stock went down more than 11% year-to-date.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI) dropped 2.17% to $1.35 a. The stock moved up after the company said, last week, that its new-subscriber growth tripled in the third quarter and is planning to offer $550 million in eight-year notes to institutional investors as it seeks to refinance shorter-term debt.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) is down 0.65% at $19.19. Earlier this week, the company reported EPS of 52 cents and revenue of $11.1 billion, compared to analysts estimates of 50 cents a share and revenue of $11 billion. The company is expecting its current revenue to be $11.4 billion, plus-or-minus $400 million, while analysts currently expects $11.33 billion.

The 52-week range of the stock is $17.60-$24.37.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) was one of the most notable stock today and was up 1.09% to $318.17. The stock is among the analysts favorite stocks with majority of them have strong Buy or Buy rating.

So far this year, the stock went up more than 50%.
