Coast Guard Helicopter Crash Leaves 3 Dead, 1 Missing

At least 3 Coast Guard members were killed Thursday off the coast of Honolulu. An official says a Coast Guard helicopter crashed about 5 miles south of Hawaii around 8 p.m. leaving 3 crewmembers dead and 1 missing. The crew was conduction a search and rescue drill with a 47 foot motor lifeboat. It is unclear exactly what caused the helicopter to crash.

Rescue workers are still searching for the missing crewmember. The named and ranks of those killed have not been released.
