Dwyane Wade Ready to Give Up Partying for His Children

NBA Star Ready to Make Changes to Gain Custody of Children

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade told a Chicago judge on Monday that he is ready to give up his partying ways, if that is what it will take for him to win sole custody over his two sons. Wade has been involved in a very public legal battle with his former wife Siovaughn for years now, and it seems that he is perhaps more dedicated than ever before to winning this battle.

While testifying in court, Wade said that his oldest son has been "alienated" from him. He also told the court that he believes Siovaughn needs help dealing with her anger. According to Wade, he fears that Siovaughn hurt not only herself but also their two sons when she failed to drop the two boys off for a court-ordered visit earlier this year. Wade, who reportedly could not reach Siovaughn for more than a day, said, “I immediately thought the worst, that she probably took them away, that she hurt herself or even hurt the kids.” According to a report posted on foxsports.com, "The Wades have not spoken since that incident on March 12."

Wade says that, if he gains sole custody of his two sons, Siovaughn would be allowed to be in the boys' lives, but only if she gets help with her anger issues. Wade claims that Siovaughn has physically attacked him and has even thrown something at him during an argument.
