"Real Housewives of O.C." Star Vicki Gunvalson Files for Divorce
Reality TV Star Calls It Quits on Marriage
Vicki Gunvalson of the "Real Housewives of Orange County" has filed for divorce from her husband Donn, according to a recent report from TMZ.com. According to documents filed in the Orange County Superior Court, the reality TV star filed for dissolution of the couple's marriage on Monday.
Vicki and Donn married each other in 1994. They were known by viewers and by other couples on the show as the unconventional married couple, because they seemed to often give each other the kinds of liberties that are not presumably afforded to most married men and women. For example, Vicki and Donn would often be seen spending long periods of time apart from each other, and neither seemed to mind too much.
News of this pending divorce comes just over a year since the Gunvalsons renewed their wedding vows, in July 2009. Vicki claimed then that the marriage needed a "new start".
