Old Town Massage Envy therapists will offer free chair massages during the second annual Taste of Greenville Avenue (TOGA 2010). More than 30 area restaurants will offer small samples of their best cuisine for $2, $3 and $4.

The 5700 block of Richmond Ave., just 150 feet from Greenville Ave., in Dallas. The event is produced by the Greenville Avenue Restaurant Association.

Why

The Old Town Massage Envy center on Greenville Avenue “was my first location,” said Bruce McGovern who owns the Massage Envy center in Old Town. “Offering free chair massages during Taste of Greenville Avenue is a great way to give back to the neighborhood where we got started. It’s a ‘thank you’ to our customers and to Greenville Avenue for our success there. And it’s going to be a memorable party.”

Details

Admission is free. Part of the proceeds of the Taste of Greenville Avenue 2010 will benefit DISD schools in the Greenville area. Beer will be offered at two beverage centers. More than 4,000 people attended the first Taste of Greenville Ave. in 2009. Taste of Greenville Avenue 2010 is sponsored by Bud Light.
