NFL Scores: Joe Flacco Earns Win in Debut as Baltimore Ravens Take care of Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Flacco threw for 129 yards and added a 38-yard TD run and the Baltimore Ravens defense limited the Cincinnati Bengals to a paltry 154 yards of total offense in a 17-10 opening game victory on Sunday.

Mark Clayton got the scoring started for the Ravens when he busted a 42-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and Matt Stover pushed the advantage to 10-0 in the second frame on a 21-yard field goal before Shayne Graham kicked a 43-yard field goal just before the half.

Flacco then gave the Ravens some breathing room as he tucked the ball and ran 38-yards down the sideline with 15 seconds left in the third for a 17-3 lead and the offensively challenged Bengals had no answer, scoring their only touchdown on a 65-yard fumble recovery by Johnathan Joseph.

Carson Palmer was an awful 10/25 for 99 yards and an interception while the running game produced just 65 yards on the ground.
