NFL Scores: Buffalo Bills Defense Shuts Down Matt Hasselbeck and the Seattle Seahawks in Rout

Marshawn Lynch collected 76 yards on the ground and a touchdown, Trent Edwards threw for 215 yards and a TD and the Buffalo Bills defense shut down the offense of the Seattle Seahawks in a 34-10 rout on Sunday.

Lynch gave the Bills a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a 21-yard TD run and then Roscoe Parrish pushed the advantage to 14-0 on a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Matt Hasselbeck, who finished the game 17/41 for 190 yards, brought the Seahawks to within 14-7 after hitting Nate Burelson on a 20-yard TD pass but that was the only time Seattle would see the endzone.

The story of the game was the Bills defense that allowed the Seahawks to convert just 3-16 third down opportunities, forced two turnovers and collected five sacks.
