US Stocks Jumped on Upgrades (NIHD, LNC, TWC, STP)

US Stocks Jumped on Upgrades

NII Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:NIHD) went up 5.33% to $38.55. Goldman Sachs upgraded NII Holdings from Neutral to Buy with a $47.90 price target, citing recent weakness in the stock from the terminated joint venture with Televisa.

The stock opened at $38.44 and was trading within the range of $36.05-$39.17. Over the past five trading sessions, the stock went down more than 10%.

Lincoln National Corporation (NYSE:LNC) added 0.55% to $25.50. Yesterday, Raymond James upgraded Lincoln Financial Corp. from Market Perform to Outperform.

Over the past five trading sessions, the stock went up more than 2%. At current market price, the market capitalization of the company stands at $8.08 billion.

Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE:TWC) gained 0.37% to $57.46. Yesterday, an analyst at Credit Suisse has upgraded shares of Time Warner Cable from Neutral to Outperform this morning. The firm raised its price target on the stock from $59 to $70.

Over the past 52-week, the stock traded within the range of $38.24-$59.47.

Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP) advanced 1.24% to $8.96. Yesterday, Deutsche Bank upgraded Suntech Power from Hold to Buy.

In the past six months of trading sessions, the stock went down more than 38%. The 52-week range of the stock is $7.53-$18.78.
