Wife of SC Judge, Mrs. Thomas, asks Hill to Consider Apologizing

There are times when the sense of humiliation and anger run fresh through time. After 19 years, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has reached out to Anita Hill, asking her to tender an apology to her husband. Hill had falsely accused the judge of sexual harassment and almost wrecked his chances of scoring that elusive high court nomination 19 years ago. Hill is now a teacher at Brandeis University. What a role model she is.

Still Waters Run Deep

Still waters do run deep. Virginia Thomas seems to have kept this entire story in mind all this time and has now approached Hill via a voice message stating that if an apology was requested, it would be considered. In a day and age like this, when if a husband is accused of such misbehavior, many wives would want to bail out and call a divorce lawyer as a result. Mrs. Thomas does not fall under this category and wants some admission of wrong doing.

Faith in Times like These

Divorce rates all over the country are increasing steadily. In heterosexual marriages, divorce rates are as high as 60%. In murky cases like these, as well as in cases where a celebrity with a high net worth is involved, it is best to hire a

Divorce lawyer to help sort through the issues and negotiate a settlement without the divorce turning into a matter of public spectacle and controversy. Divorce attorneys will aid their client in acquiring the maximum possible from the separation and/or the cleanest breakup in the least possible time. Whether or not she is right in asking Hill to tender an apology, her faith in her husband is commendable.
