Jenn Sterger Hires Lawyer
Brett Favre Drama Heats Up
Jenn Sterger, who allegedly received lewd messages and sexually explicit pictures from NFL quarterback Brett Favre, has hired a lawyer. Even though Sterger has not commented on the Deadspin.com report which contained the allegations, the former New York Jets sideline host has hired the LaRusso and Conway firm of Long Island to help her during the process of dealing with the claims. According to a report from ESPN.com, "Sterger's manager Phil Reese says Wednesday the decision was made 'after much deliberation.'"
Favre, who is also at the center of these allegations, spoke to an NFL security official on Tuesday about the photos and messages that he allegedly sent to Sterger two years ago, while they were both with Jets. An official report will be created from that interview, and that report, in turn, will be reviewed by other NFL officials. Then the NFL will determine if they will try to get Sterger to speak about the claims.
According to the ESPN report, "[NFL vice president for security Milt] Ahlerich and his security department have had no success in attempts to
interview Sterger. Without Sterger's cooperation the investigation could
hit a dead end as early as this week."
