October 20, 2010 – Nashville, TN – “The Moment of Change: Intervention Approaches for Professionals” conference returned to The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, Sept. 27-30, 2010, setting attendance records with more than 750 registrants, drawing interventionists, CEOs, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists from as far away as Hong Kong.
The four-day education and networking event hosted by Foundations Recovery Network and Southworth Associates included six keynote addresses and 30 workshops led by more than 40 of the industry’s leading experts on addiction and recovery. This 32nd national conference also set a record with 103 exhibitors on hand.
Early morning 12-step meetings overlooking the gorgeous Palm Beach sunrise attracted more than 100 attendees each morning, while conference nightlife included comedian Tom Simmons (XM Radio, Comedy Central) and live music by Nashville singer-songwriter Sonia Lee. The new “Interventionists Showcase,” highlighted dozens of veteran and emerging interventionists, providing a one-of-a-kind networking opportunity.
