Russian Prosecutors Look to Ban “South Park,” Say Cartoon “Offends the Honor and Dignity of Christians and Muslims Alike”

Prosecutors in Moscow are seeking an end to the Matt Stone - Trey Parker cartoon creation “South Park” after an episode aired that “bore signs of extremist activity.”

The episode, which aired on 2x2 television, was titled “Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics” ad featured Christmas songs that included a duet by Santa Claus and Jesus Christ.

A statement released by Moscow prosecutors attacked the value of “South Park” declaring, “It offends the honor and dignity of Christians and Muslims alike.
