Seagate Technology PLC (NASDAQ:STX) went down
0.99% to $15.06. Needham & Company maintained a 'Strong Buy' rating on
Seagate Technology and lowered its price target on the stock from $20 to $17.
Yesterday,
the company reported late Wednesday that its fiscal first-quarter profit
declined 17% to $149 million, or 31 cents a share, from $179 million, or 35
cents a share, in the year-ago quarter. On an adjusted basis, the company earned
37 cents a share in the latest quarter.
Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) fell 4.98%
to $19.85. The company announced financial results for its fiscal third quarter
2010, ended Sept. 30, 2010.
GAAP net
income in the third quarter of 2010 was $3.5 million, compared with $5.3
million in the second quarter of 2010 and $4.8 million in the third quarter of
2009.
The
52-week range of the stock is $14.60-$27.48. The stock went up more than 4%
year-to-date.
Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ:NLST) soared 6.45%
at $3.63. At a New York convention, the company demonstrated its HyperCloud
technology, which enables IT managers to increase the number of machines
managed by each of their servers and allocate more memory to each machine.
Over the
past 52-week, the stock had traded within the range of $0.58-$7.98 and is down
more than 29% year-to-date.
