Microsoft will launch a new online PC game store called Games for Windows Marketplace in the middle of November.

The company first announced its plans of creating a PC game store on Monday Oct. 18 and now has come up with the details. Microsoft is planning to add more than 100 titles from various game makers for the launch.

Some of the major hits that will be featured on the store includes titles from Microsoft Game Studios, including "Fable: The Lost Chapters," "Flight Simulator," "Gears of War," "Halo" and "Age of Empires Online."  The store will also have stocks of other major titles including "Grand Theft Auto III," and "Max Payne" from Rockstar Games along with "Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition" from Square Enix.

Microsoft said that it plans to host independent games titles or what is known in the industry as Indie games. The store will officially launch on Nov. 15 on the company website www.gamesforwindows.com.

The company is planning to offer a variety of deals to attract gamers on the website with plans of offering weekly and seasonal promotions to lure customers. The store will remain open at all times and users will have the option to purchase games online and download them to their gaming consoles and computers.

The only requirement for accessing the Games for Windows Marketplace is to have a Windows Live ID, which includes an account with Windows Live, Xbox Live, or Games for Windows – Live or Zune accounts. Gamers can also use Microsoft Points at the store.
