Prior to making an announcement regarding Apple Inc.’s changes to the popular iPod and iTunes music service company CEO Steve Jobs assured those attending the event “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.”
The health of Jobs has been the subject of many rumors in the tech world as the 53-year-old has fought off pancreatic cancer but has appeared thin in recent months. Jobs tried to put those rumors to rest on Tuesday, borrowing a quote from American humorist Mark Twain, he flashed the anecdote on a screen for all to see.
Moments after the declaration Jobs unveiled the new changes to the iPod and iTunes producst and services.
