On an all new episode of Dave Navarro's Spread TV, model, actor and singer Natasha Alam joins Dave and Todd for an intimate conversation about her role in The Women, and what is was like working with stars such as Meg Ryan, Annette Benning, and Eva Menendez. They also spoke of her upcoming film Drop Dead Gorgeous, coming out in 2009. Natasha, who was born in Uzbekistan and is formerly of Iranian royalty through marriage, is a model-turned-actress who has appeared in numerous prime-time television shows including Entourage, CSI, NYPD Blue, Less Than Perfect, and The Bold and the Beautiful. In addition to acting, Natasha was also the front vocalist for the LA based band, Shangri-La until their separation in 2007.
She is currently set to appear in three additional films later this year after her new film, The Women, debuts on September 12.

About Natasha Alam
Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Natasha, Russian abbreviation for Natalia, attended school at the University of Technology for Aviation. In search of independence, Natasha moved to Moscow to model under "Red Stars" model management. A few years later, Natasha was scouted by the Italian agency, "International Model Management" that sent her to Rome, Paris, Milan, and London to model for Gucci, Versace, John Galiano, Rocco Barrocco, Christian Dior, Trussardi, Vivienne Westwood and many other top designers. In 1996 Natasha met Amir Ebrahim Pahlavi Alam, the grandson of the Shah of Iran. The couple married in New York in 1998 and moved to London where Natasha enrolled into "The Method Center" to study the "Lee Strasbergs Acting Technique." In 2001 Natasha and her husband moved to Los Angeles to continue her studies in acting, vocals, speech, and accent reduction with Ivana Chubbuck, Howard Fine, Lesly Kahn, Carol Rogers, and Bob Corff. Natasha's hard work started to pay off when she booked her first acting job on the television show "Fastlane" (2002). With their careers going separate ways, Natasha and Amir separated in 2005. Today Natasha lives in Hollywood and boasts a resume including prime-time television shows such as, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "NYPD Blue", "Less Than Perfect", and "The Bold and the Beautiful".
