Suicide Car Bombing in Iraq Kills at least 28

A suicide bomber drove a vehicle full of explosives into a police station in Iraq on Friday killing at last 28 people and leaving more than 40 injured.

The blast, which occurred just north of Baghdad in the town of Dujail, hit just before dusk as the streets were filling with people. According to reports several shoppers at a market near the police station were killed in the bombing.

It is believed the attack was carried out by al-Qaeda Suni militants.
