NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) soared 6.40%
to $11.80 on about 33.07 million shares. This week, the company announced the
availability of its highly anticipated NVIDIA 3DTV Play software, which allows
users to connect NVIDIA 3D Vision-enabled notebooks and desktops to 3D HDTVs
for the ultimate high-definition, big-screen entertainment experience.
Over the
past 52-week, the stock had traded within the range of $8.65-$18.96 and is down
more than 36% year-to-date.
Schlumberger
Limited. (NYSE:SLB) jumped 5.38% to $67.77. This week, the company
said its net income jumped to $1.73 billion or $1.38 a share, from $787
million, or 65 cents a share, in the same period last year.
Schlumberger said its quarterly revenue also increased to $6.85
billion from $5.43 billion.
On average, analysts expected Schlumberger to earn 70 cents a share
on revenue of $6.6 billion, according to a survey by FactSet Research.
The stock opened at $66.07 and traded within the range of $66.01-$68.20.
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE:CMG) climbed
14.79% to $205.77 after it made its fresh 52-week high of $207.94. This week,
the company reported financial results for its third quarter ended September
30, 2010. Net income for the third quarter of 2010 was $48.2 million, or $1.52
per diluted share, compared to $34.5 million, or $1.08 per diluted share, in
the third quarter of 2009.
Over the
past 52-week, the stock had traded within the range of $79.02-$207.94 and is up
more than 128% year-to-date.
