Beckham's Looking At Options- Nearing The End Of LA Contract

Becks has quite a few options open to him- including the chance to play for England again

David Beckham may be back! Playing for England that is- he’s in the final year of his contract with the LA Galaxy and Becks is looking to play for the home team again. However, he’s not moving house to do it- the family likes living in LA and is very likely to stay put- only Becks would be traveling if he does end up playing back in England again.

His 32.5 million dollar contract with Major League Soccer has one year left, and speculation says that he’s not tied to it for the last year- he could simply buy it out (he certainly made enough money) and leave at the end of the playoff rounds. Still, there’s no telling what the famous footballer might do.

The injury to his Achilles tendon sustained during a brief sojourn with AC Milan last spring caused England to lose its star player for the World Cup matches. However, Beckham claims he’s “80 to 85” percent fit according to The New York Times, and should be back on the pitch sooner rather than later- it just remains to be seen where exactly.
