Charlie Sheen Hospitalized After Being Found Drunk and Naked
Actor Allegedly Trashes Hotel Room
Charlie Sheen was hospitalized early Tuesday in New York City. According to a report from TMZ.com, Sheen had been in a hotel room some time early Tuesday with an unidentified women when he apparently lost his temper and trashed the room. Hotel security eventually showed up and found Charlie Sheen reportedly drunk. According to TMZ's sources, Charlie was close to being arrested for disorderly conduct before he voluntarily cooperated and agreed to go to a local hospital. Sheen was reportedly accompanied to the hospital by his ex-wife Denise Richards.
According to the New York Post, Sheen was found drunk and naked in his hotel room when hotel security went to investigate his room. The room was reportedly trashed, with chairs thrown across the room and a chandelier damaged. At around 2 AM, emergency dispatch received a call for a possible intoxication. Sheen was later taken to a local NYC hospital some time around 2:30 AM. According to police sources, Sheen was "intoxicated, irrational... [and] emotionally disturbed."
TMZ also reports that the woman who was with Sheen says that they were both drinking before Sheen allegedly trashed the hotel room. The woman was reportedly so scared of Sheen that she locked herself in the hotel room's bathroom and called for security.
Sheen's rep said, "What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic
reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital, where is
expected to be released tomorrow."
Meanwhile, Sheen is only 8 days away from completing his probation, after pleading guilty to assault back in August. Luckily, Sheen decided to cooperate with cops and go to the hospital. Otherwise he could have been sent to jail, thus violating his probation.
