share, from $29.3 million, or 7 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
Wall Street analysts expected earnings of 14 cents a
share, and revenue of $421.7 million, according to a survey by FactSet
Research. The company expects fourth-quarter revenue of $410 million to $430
million, below the Wall Street target of $441.2 million.
Over the past 52-week, the stock traded within the range
of $5.36-$9.45.
Ariad
Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARIA) fell 9.27% to $3.72. Yesterday,
the company announced that it is offering to sell 16,000,000 shares of its
common stock in an underwritten public offering.
Over the past 52-week, the stock traded within the range
of $1.70-$4.49. The stock is up more than 73% year-to-date.
