AP Top 25 College Football Scores: Sam Bradford Unstoppable as #3 Oklahoma Sooners Torch Washington Huskies

Sam Bradford was 18/21 for 304 yards passing and five touchdowns and added a one-yard TD run for good measure, Jermaine Gresham had 99 yards on three receptions and two touchdowns and Ryan Broyles had 85 yards receiving and a pair of TDs as the #3 Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) rolled the Washington Huskies (0-3) 55-14 on Saturday.

Bradford had three touchdown passes by halftime with all three going to different receivers as Juaquin Iglesias opened things up with a 13-yard TD catch, Gresham hauled in a 22-yard score and Broyles caught a 4-yard toss. Proving he can do it with more than just his arm Bradford added one-yard TD run, something Mossis Madu would do towards the end of the second quarter and Oklahoma led 34-0 at the half.

The Sooners wasted little time scoring in the third quarter as Bradford continued his assault, hitting Broyles on a 77-yard TD strike and after Washington finally got on the board with a Jake Locker 15-yard TD run Bradford was back at it, connecting with Gresham for a 64-yard touchdown that boosted the advantage to 48-7.

Oklahoma put up 591 yards of total offense and didn’t turn the ball over.

The Sooners will next face TCU on Sept. 27 while Washington will face Stanford on the same day.
