AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) slid
0.18% to $28.31. Third-quarter revenue rose to $429 million from $389 million,
mostly in line with the market's expectations. Its quarterly profit
rose to $59 million from $28 million a year earlier. Earnings per share,
excluding intangible asset amortization but including stock option expenses,
was 16 cents compared to the market's forecast of 14 cents, according to
Thomson Reuters.
The 52-week
range of the stock is $23.78-$29.43. Over the past three months of trading
sessions, the stock went up more than over 9%.
Yahoo!
Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) jumped 0.34% to $16.45. Last week, the
company said its third-quarter net income rose to $396.1 million, or 29 cents a
share, from $186.1 million, or 13 cents a share in the same period last year.
Analysts polled by FactSet Research had expected Yahoo to
report third-quarter earnings of 15 cents a share, and $1.13 billion in net
revenue.
The stock opened at $16.21 and was trading within the
range of $16.20-$16.48.
Motorola,
Inc. (NYSE:MOT) went down 0.88% to $7.86. Motorola, Inc.
provides technologies, products and services for mobile phones. Its portfolio
includes wireless handsets, wireless accessories, digital entertainment
devices, set-top boxes and video distribution systems, analog and digital
two-way radios, wireless and wireline broadband network products, and
end-to-end enterprise mobility products.
