Monday Night Football Schedule: Tony Romo Leads Dallas Cowboys Against Rival Philadelphia Eagles

The Dallas Cowboys (1-0) host their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) on Monday Night Football at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.

The Cowboys came into the 2008 season with a lot of expectations as many foresee them in the Super Bowl. In their opening game against the Cleveland Browns, the Cowboys prevailed 28-10. Tony Romo threw 24-for-32 for 320 yards for Dallas.

The Eagles surprised the nation with its 38-3 rout of the St. Louis Rams. Donovan McNabb threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns, while three recievers (DeSean Jackson, Glen Lewis and Hank Baskett) each had 100+ yards games.

The personal turmoil between McNabb and Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens has added to the rivalry between the two teams over the last couple of years. The two never saw eye-to-eye when Owens played for the Eagles in 2004-05 and their problems became very public.

With the success of the Cowboys, Eagles and the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, it is easy to see why many analysts believe the NFC East is the toughest division in the NFL.
