Blue Cross and Blue Shield Gives to Charlotte Community

Blue Cross and Blue Shield has entered a partnership with the  North Carolina's Smart Start childhood education program to give back to daycare centers.  Over the next three years North Carolina's largest health insurer will donate $3 million to increase exercise and nutrition awareness among 5,000 daycare centers.  The timely gift comes at a time when many daycare centers are being hurt by the economy.
