Monday Night Football Schedule: Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens Game Postponed to Nov. 9

The Houston Texans (0-1) will now play the Baltimore Ravens (1-0) on Nov. 9 instead of Monday Night Football tonight.

The game was scheduled for Monday at 8:30pm EST at Houston's Reliant Stadium, but was rescheduled due to Hurricane Ike.

Hurricane Ike initially moved the Texans-Ravens game from Sunday to being played on Monday Night Football. However, after Hurricane Ike swept through coastal Texas, the storm severely damaged Reliant Stadium, making the game impossible to be played this soon.

Reliant Stadium suffered structural damage to its roof, making the stadium unsuitable to host the game.

The Texans' bye week has been changed from Sunday, Oct. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 14 while the Ravens' bye has been changed from Sunday, Nov. 9 also to Sep. 14.

The Cincinnati Bengals' bye has been changed from Oct. 26 to Sunday, Nov. 9. Cincinnati was originally scheduled to play the Texans at Reliant Stadium on Nov. 9. That game has been rescheduled for Oct. 26 at Reliant Stadium at 4:05 p.m. EST.

It is unclear if the stadium will be suitable to host the Texans' next scheduled home game against the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 5. The Texans' next two games are away.
