50 Cent Mocks Kanye West, Sets Another Album Release Battle for December

50 Cent mocked Kanye West and is slated for another battle this year as their new albums are scheduled for release just one week apart.

At a concert in Albany, NY on Saturday, 50 Cent mocked West, igniting fire for yet another spirited battle between the rappers in album sales. 50 Cent told fans that he was debuting his new song at the concert, similar to what West did with "Love Lockdown" on Sept. 7 at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

"What I want everybody to do right now is take your cell phones out, get your cameras out," 50 urged the audience at the Times Union Center. "Tonight, Albany, New York, I'm gonna give y'all an exclusive. I'mma perform my first single off my new album, Before I Self Destruct."

Soon thereafter, 50 Cent's DJ, DJ Whoo Kid began playing "Love Lockdown" by West .50 began singing the song, clearly mocking West. "That's what y'all are left with," Fif said, after covering the first verse.

50 Cent said Before I Self Destruct is coming out on December 9, and West's 808's & Heartbreak is reportedly slated for a December 16 release date. However, like last year, their albums could be moved to be released on the same date.

Last year on Sept. 11, 50 Cent's Curtis and West's Graduation released their albums. West's album moved 957,000 during its first six days, while 50 Cent locked down 691,000.
