Ohio State's Chris "Beanie" Wells Listed as Questionable vs. Troy on Saturday

Ohio State running back Chris "Beanie" Wells is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Troy, according to reports on Tuesday.

Wells suffered an injury to his right big toe in the third quarter of OSU's first game of the season against Youngstown St.

He has missed the last two games, including the highly-anticipated matchup against USC this past Saturday. Without his services, USC routed Ohio State 35-3, dropping the Buckeyes from #5 to #14 in the AP Top 25 Poll.

Wells will participate in Tuesday's practice and his response to drills will determine his status for the Troy game. He had not practiced at all since the injury until last Tuesday but soreness kept him out of the game against Southern Cal.

Wells, a preseason Heisman Trophy candidate, and redshirt freshman Dan Herron are listed as co-starters on this week's depth chart.
